Vietnamese Food In Abilene
Phoenix Pho has created such a clean, modern atmosphere.
There is a whole wall of windows in their dining room opening up to the cutest outdoor area with a pond and a fountain.
It was too hot to sit outside today but we can’t wait to go back in the Fall when it’s cooler and relax in their outdoor seating area. 🍁
What To Order
When I asked our served what we had to try here, she said the Pho Tai (P2) and the Bun Phoenix Special (B1) were two of their most popular dishes, so, of course, that’s what we ordered!
The service was friendly and fast (which is always appreciated with our little one!) and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious.
Pho Tai (P2)
🍜 Adam is a huge pho fan, so he was in heaven with that ginormous bowl of rich broth and noodles.
One of their Google reviews said “it tastes like your mother loves you” and I’d have to agree!
It’s such a unique comfort food. That broth is incredible. So rich and flavorful!
Bun Phoenix Special (B1)
🍲 My Bun Phoenix Special was equally as amazing.
The spring roll was fresh and crispy (I ate it all before I even thought to offer Adam a taste!), the meat was all tender and flavorful, the veggies were all fresh and crunchy, and I was a little hesitant about the fish sauce but I was so pleasantly surprised!
I ended up pouring most of the dish over my bowl. It really brought the whole dish together.
Brown Sugar Boba
🧋 Our server also highly recommended the brown sugar boba “if you like sweet” and she was right.
Adam has a major sweet tooth and he loved it. The boba was a little softer than most places we’ve had it and I actually preferred it this way.
I ordered the peach green tea and it was also pretty sweet, but delicious and so refreshing.
The Menu
They have so many different options here and they all sound delicious – pho, bun bowls, spring rolls, dumplings, fried rice, boba, milk tea, and so much more!
This place was definitely a hit. We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
