Cajun Cones in Abilene, Texas
Cajun Cones is a little trailer in Abilene, Texas with a huge selection of flavors of regular snow cones and “Sno Creams.”
Abilene has finally been heating up this summer and what better way to cool off than with a snow cone?
Tucked away in the United parking light, right behind the Chicken Express and the Walgreens, is a cute little trailer that makes incredible snow cones.

My husband, Adam, has been going to Cajun Cones since he was in college at ACU and has been itching to get back there since we moved to Abilene.
We just had friends in town visiting, which gave us the perfect excuse to go, not once, but twice (two days in a row đ)!
Cajun Cones Menu

Their menu has so many different flavors that everyone is sure to find something that fits their tastes – sweet, fruity, creamy, refreshing.
Adam loves their âSno Creamsâ (a snow cone with sweet cream added) but I love their âregularâ flavors, which donât feel regular at all to me.
I mean, âShark Biteâ and âPrincessâ?! So fun!
We still donât know what all of their creative flavors taste like but one thingâs for sure, you can eat the rainbow here.
Snow Cones

This is exactly what we did because my friends love me enough to color-coordinate their orders to get the most colorful photos to share with yâall.
Iâm a huge fan of lemonade and their lemonade flavor didnât disappoint.
Weâve also had:
- the grasshopper sno cream
- pineapple
- blueberry
- …and so many others.Â
Quick Tip
The flavors have all been amazing, but your snow cone maker does make a difference!
The first day, our snow cones were bigger and had much more syrup (enough that you may want to ask for âlightâ syrup), but the second day they were smaller, without the rounded top, but had the perfect amount of syrup.
If you have a preference for light syrup (my style) or extra sweet (Adam’s style), then make sure to speak up and let them know!
Both snow cone makers we worked with were so kind and happy to oblige our requests.
We love this place and will definitely be back to cool off this summer.
Snow Cone or Shaved Ice?
We actually did some research here before we visited to see which one we were going to get.
See, the texture of the ice in snow cones is coarse and crunchy while shaved ice is lighter and more fluffy.
Cajun Cones actually serves shaved ice, not snow cones.
I’m a big fan of the lighter, fluffier shaved ice, but it’s something you should know before you go!
